Our Early Childhood Center collected new, unwrapped toys for the City Mission of Schenectady. The toys were distributed to less fortunate children in our area. ![]() Rock N Bowl-A-Thon Sunday, January,22nd ~ 12 to 3 PM ~ Sportsman Bowl ~ Students will be collecting pledges for donations. ~ Top student donation/pledge earners will recieve rewards! ~ All students participating will be entered into a raffle for prizes! ~ Bumper lanes will be available for our younger students! ~ Parents, family & friends are invited to bowl for $25 per bowler (includes shoes, pizza & soda)~ Chinese Auction, 50/50 raffles and much more... Hudson River Panorama Albany Institute of History and Art did an in class presentation for our 3rd & 4th grade students to give them a feel for what life was like for the first settlers of the Hudson River Valley. ![]() ![]() Egyptology Our 5th & 6th graders took a field trip to the Albany Institute of History & Art for a presentation on Egytology.Students learned about the ancient Egyption burial procedures and made clay models of a sarcophagus. ![]() ![]() Special Guest! Mrs. McNamee's nephew, Patrick, who works behind the scenes with music on some popular TV shows, visited the 4th & 5th graders. Patrick brought his saxophone and spoke about the hard work involved in getting one song on air. He spoke of integrity, being true to one's self and the life lessons he learned from family that aided him in his career. Everyone was feeling the Christmas spirit when he played a song he performed on TV and Jingle Bells. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
